With 294 lb.-ft. of torque, you’ll love the feeling from the first press of the accelerator. Volt is smart too. Its 1.5L direct-injected high-efficiency engine and two electric motors help it run on an electric charge while generating additional energy when the battery runs out.
REGEN ON DEMAND
With a simple pull of the Regen on Demand† paddle on your steering wheel, you're able to slow down without using the actual brake pedal. This also converts kinetic energy into electricity and then transfers it back to the battery.† Of course, you must use your brake pedal if you need to stop immediately.

Want to know where you’re using the most energy or how much charge you have left in the battery? All of that valuable real-time information is housed on the color touch-screen and Driver Information Center behind the steering wheel.

120-VOLT CHARGING
A 120-volt† portable charge cord is included and can be plugged into anywhere there is a standard 3-prong outlet.
240-VOLT CHARGING
Standard on Premier models and available on LT, the new 7.2 kW onboard charger can provide up to 22 miles per hour charged† with the available 240-volt charging unit (professional installation required). That’s up to twice as fast as the previous model.
